Materials that contain these dangerous fibres are present in many common residential building materials used right up to the 1980’s.

Today we now know the extent of the dangers surrounding exposure to these fibres, namely lung cancer.

Some common materials such as but not limited to, ceiling & floor tiles, heating duct & boiler pipe insulations, plaster & drywall compounds and vermiculite attic insulation are known to have these fibres present and could potentially present serious health risks to persons who are exposed or handle these materials improperly.

Visual Asbestos Inspections

A visual inspection is conducted to identify materials that may possibly contain asbestos and that would warrant further investigation through lab testing.

Bulk Sampling

Bulk sampling of materials that may contain asbestos is performed as needed at the home owners request or inspectors recommendation. Asbestos samples are delivered to an accredited lab for analysis.

Air Sampling & Testing

Air sampling for asbestos can be performed to determine if elevated levels may be present within a home. Sampling is also performed post remediation to ensure levels are within safe recognized standards. Asbestos samples are delivered to an accredited lab for analysis.

Independent Third Party Lab Report & Recommendations

A written report which includes results of which type and presence of asbestos is provided, along with recommendations for any possible required remedial work.
